Over 24 years, YCOWA conducted numerous trainings on Human Rights, Labor Rights, Gender, and Organizing. The organization has been a steadfast advocate, providing legal aid to migrant workers in both Thailand and Myanmar. Notably, YCOWA received the 8th Tji Hak-Soon Justice & Peace Award in 2004 for its role in supporting migrants' access to justice in Thailand.

Community Support (2002-2023):

YCOWA established a safe house in 2002, later transformed into a community center in 2016. This center provides essential support to pregnant women, victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, injured or sick workers, and those in legal battles. The organization offers counseling, education on labor rights, and assistance with food, security, and shelter during negotiations.

Healthcare Initiatives (2007-2012):

YCOWA ran a mobile clinic in the Maesot garbage dump, offering medical aid to over two thousand people. The organization raised awareness about health issues, provided flu vaccines, and collaborated with medical organizations to address skin and gastrointestinal diseases prevalent in the community.

COVID-19 Response (2020-2021):

Amid the COVID-19 crisis, YCOWA collaborated with Myanmar Labor Attaché and partner organizations to assist over 107,000 Myanmar workers in crossing the border safely. The organization also provided food and medical supplies to workers affected by lockdowns.
